Does Telegram send verification codes to other apps?

Telegram login codes are only sent by SMS, voice call, or an official Telegram conversation on an already signed-in device. They are not delivered through third-party chat apps.

If you see a so-called Telegram verification notice inside another app, treat it as a possible impersonation or phishing attempt.
